Career Change Challenges post MBA

The main challenge with a career change is Human Resources personnel, many recruiters are yet to recognise MBAs as Change Agents. MBAs are well rounded individuals who are capable of succeeding in any function they choose with the right support structure. Until such time that hiring individuals don't dwell so much on one's past but what one could potentially do, people will continue to find it harder changing careers. This poses a real challenge if your studies were self-funded. I wish organisations could realise that most MBA graduates chose to study so they could change functions/industries rather than advance in the same fields they were in before the MBA.
